What it reads
Subaru-specific data, not a generic OBD clone.
The free version already includes CVT oil temperature, CVT ratio, AWD duty (%) on a gauge screen, and trouble-code reading. A full-version subscription adds extra parameters, graphs, and logging (premium adapter required).
Gauge screens
Analog-style arcs for speed, RPM, coolant, oil, MAF, fuel, VDC wheel speeds, and more — arranged the way you want them.
Trouble codes
Read and clear DTCs with history context across modules — airbag, HVAC, meter, and more.
Graphs & logging
Plot live traces such as RPM and speed. Logging is available with a premium-level adapter in the full version.
Bluetooth 3.0 & BLE
Connects over Bluetooth Classic (3.0) and Bluetooth Low Energy (4.0).
Inside the app
Gauges, graphs, and codes.
The same dark instrument layout on iPhone and Android. Swipe the row on smaller screens.
Hardware
Recommended OBD-II adapters
A compliant ELM327-type adapter is required. These are the adapters we recommend for iOS and Android. Latest manufacturer firmware is expected.
Requirements: Subaru vehicle MY 2012+ (OBD CAN) and a compliant adapter. Premium-level adapters give better speed and stability; some features such as logging expect them.
* OBDLink CX: pair and connect within 5 minutes of powering the vehicle on. If you run into issues, try downgrading the adapter firmware and upgrading it again. ** Firmware incompatibility with certain smartphones (such as Pixel 6 and newer) can cause Bluetooth connectivity issues.
